EZTrees is an independent library for people who want to plant thoughtfully and care for trees with confidence.
Climate before promises.
A tree that thrives in one garden can struggle a few streets away. Our guides explain broad climate needs, then point out the details that change the answer: cultivar, winter chill, humidity, drainage and exposure. Use a local extension service or experienced nursery to narrow your choices.
Sources you can follow.
Our starting point is published horticultural extension and botanical guidance. Each profile and growing guide links to its references. These are independently prepared summaries, not an endorsement by the institutions cited. We do not present the guides as reports of trials in our own orchard.
Photographs, with credit.
Every plant photo has a source and an open license. You can find the photographer, original image and license on our photo credits page. Images illustrate species; they do not guarantee the appearance of a particular cultivar or age.
A growing collection.
Our first edition covers six fruit trees and six palms, with three foundational care guides. More pages should mean more useful information, not just more search results.
